The Sierra Madre Occidental gold-silver belt in the Mulatos district has seen recent discoveries by Grayd Resources and hosts the producing Mulatos gold mine owned by Alamos Gold. Pediment's La Juliana property is located just 6 kilometers west of the Mulatos open-pit, heap-leach gold mine. Large resources of stratabound high-sulfidation gold mineralization are being developed in this region. Another prospective project of Pediment in this area is the Valenzuela property.
